Abigail

Abigail written by Kansas author Jan Allison is the story of Abigail Duncan and her view of events that effected her family during the Civil War years and the years following when the family moved to Fort Dodge in western Kansas. The story is told in Abigail's own words and comes with a companion book of activities, recipes and songs that Abigail and her friends would have enjoyed. Jan Allison researched and wrote Abigail to provide Kansas Day Activities for her students and to share her love of Civil War and Santa Fe Trail history.
