Nicodemus Pancakes

The only remaining all African American community west of the Mississippi, survives as an anchor for descendents of ex-slaves who migrated from Kentucky after the Civil War. Nicodemus is the home of the Nicodemus Flour Co-op founded in 2000 by wheat farmers who share a common vision to create a viable business and new employment opportunity for the conmnmunity.
